The workshop required the attendance of all faculty and staff and this report includes the results of a post-workshop questionnaire. In 2023, drawing on the content of workshops from the past two years and feedback from participants, we revised the workshop’s content and discussed collaboration between internal and external organizations in supporting students with disabilities. While the results of the web-based questionnaire survey may not fully reflect the university’s overall situation, the workshop has proven beneficial in raising awareness of disabilities among faculty and staff not regularly interacting with students. It highlighted that the workshops have enhanced many faculty members’ understanding of key concepts such as “reasonable accommodation.” It also pointed out the necessity of providing information through specific examples to foster organizational collaboration both within and outside the university. Moreover, Sapporo Gakuin University has established a consultation system for faculty members to support students with disabilities, centered around the department dedicated to disabled students’ support, and many faculty members can envisage a place for consultation and collaboration.
