In this article, we surveyed what process “Period for Integrated Study” of schools has been introduced. The changes of “course of study” of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology are studied from the point of view of education system and social request. In these changes, the transition in the role of “Period for Integrated Study” is reviewed.
