　The teaching method of “the Period for Integrated Studies” should be introduced in an elementary school teacher-training course of universities. Many cases and studies have been accumulated at elementary schools, but there are not many cases about the teaching method at universities yet. The “Manufacturing and Children’s Development” at Department of Child Development, Sapporo Gakuin University is an important case of active learning.
