Thus, this study reviews the employment and working conditions of people with disabilities in Japan. In addition to this, a review of survey research on the psychological health of workers in Japan was conducted. The labor laws in Japan require companies to hire people with disabilities; however, there are no specific guidelines in place to improve the work environment and benefits for workers.
