| 内容記述 | 本稿は，北海道むかわ町汐見のアイヌ民族の家庭に生まれ育った田中妙子さん（1947年生まれ）のオーラル・ヒストリーである．近代以降，アイヌ民族に対する日本社会からの同化政策や激しい民族差別は，アイヌ語やアイヌ文化の継承に大きな負の影響を与えてきた．田中さんが育った1950年代から1960年代の汐見においても，若い世代はアイヌ語やアイヌ文化の継承の機会を失いつつあった．その一方で，アイヌ語を母語として獲得し，伝統的なアイヌ文化を継承した世代の人々が家庭内や集落内の中高年層として若い世代とともに暮らしていた時代でもあった．田中さんが祖母をはじめとしたアイヌ語を母語とする世代の人々と接する中で経験した文化的な記憶を紹介する． | |||||

| 内容記述 | This oral history recounts the life of Taeko Tanaka, a woman born in 1947 and raised in an Ainu family in Shiomi in Mukawa Town, Hokkaido. Since the advent of Japan's modern era, assimilation policies and intense discrimination by mainstream society have severely hampered the transmission of the Ainu language and culture. Even in Shiomi during the 1950s and 1960s, when Taeko Tanaka was growing up, younger generations had increasingly limited opportunities to learn the Ainu language and culture. At the same time, it was also an era when those who had acquired Ainu as their mother tongue and inherited traditional Ainu culture lived alongside the younger generation as middle-aged and elderly members of families and the community. This paper explores Tanaka's personal recollections of cultural experiences through her interactions with her grandmother and others of the generation who spoke Ainu as their mother tongue. | |||||
